DARRYL KNIGHT The Standard UXBRIDGE: One of Uxbridge's most popular summertime traditions returns this weekend, with Art in the Park presented by the Uxbridge Lions Club back in Elgin Park on Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th.
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event is slated to bring nearly 100 different artists to the with an exciting array of artistic mediums represented, including painting, sculpting, wood carving, jewellery, pottery and much more.
Art in the Park is an inclusive event for all ages and will offer a free Children's art workshop on both days, to allow young artists the opportunity to explore their creativity. A special silent auction will raise funds for the Lion Club's popular dog guides program in the community.
