Virus cases mostly in double-digit numbers in local communities

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: COVID-19 case numbers remain mostly in double digits, in North Durham and Kawartha Lakes.

As of press time, according to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has 24 active cases. To date, Scugog has had 18 deaths and 946 resolved cases.

Uxbridge has 15 active cases. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 27 deaths and 1,071 resolved cases.

Brock Township has nine active cases. To date, Brock has had four deaths and 561 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has 56 unresolved/active cases, 3,380 resolved cases and 77 deaths.
