Virus case numbers keep changing in North Durham, Kawartha Lakes

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: COVID-19 case numbers continue to change in North Durham and Kawartha Lakes.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has 181 active cases as of press time. To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 640 resolved cases.

Uxbridge has 143 active cases. Since the pandemic’s start, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 798 resolved cases. Brock Township has 88 active cases. To date, Brock has had four deaths and 331 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has 435 unresolved/active cases, 2,015 resolved cases and 63 deaths, an increase of four deaths from last week’s numbers.
