SCUGOG: Santa Claus will be making his annual trip around Port Perry early next month, when the Scugog Santa Claus parade returns.
The parade, organized by the Scugog Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 2nd, starting at 5 p.m.
The parade starts at the Port Perry Fairgrounds, and will travel down Reach Street, Simcoe Street, Queen Street, Water Street and will end at Mary Street.
This year, the theme for the parade is “Christmas at the Movies.” Floats are expected to include themes from movies, such as, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, among many others.
