Road closures on Reach Street and Sandford Road in Scugog and Uxbridge

NORTH DURHAM: The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming road closures, on Reach Street and Sandford Road, in the townships of Scugog and Uxbridge, to safely replace the bridges over Nonquon River and Pefferlaw Creek.

Work on the bridge is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 15th and to be completed mid-November. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

This will effect the area from Reach Street, between Highway 12/7 and Marsh Hill Road, in the Township of Scugog; and on Sandford Road, between Concession Road 2 and Concession Road 3, in the Township of Uxbridge.

The Region realizes, the work may be disruptive, so they will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
