UXBRIDGE: The community will have the opportunity to experience a pump park first-hand this weekend at a special open house.
The Uxbridge Pump Track Committee will host at Open House on Saturday, July 20th at the Uxbridge Seniors Centre on Marietta St., from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
At the event, the Committee will introduce design plans for the park which is slated to be built at the Fields of Uxbridge south of the Skate Park on the property, just off Main St. The public is encouraged to offer their input on these proposed designs.
Visitors can get an interactive experience through a special portable, mini pump track on the Uxpool baseball diamond. Visitors are encouraged to bring their bike and a helmet to get a feel for what a pump park is all about.
