SCUGOG: Over 100 students from Port Perry High School came together, for another unforgettable year at the 2025 Leadership Camp, an energizing 3-day adventure, dedicated to developing leadership, community, and resilience.

Held at the scenic Camp Muskoka, this year's camp brought students out of their comfort zones and into a supportive environment, where they could connect, collaborate, and grow. The camp was the result of a year’s worth of planning, by a dedicated student leadership committee, made up of 30 Grade 11 and 12 students, who worked tirelessly to design activities which inspired and modeled leadership in action, lead by Camp Heads, Alyson Elliott and Grace Jackson.

From team challenges and leadership workshops to campfire reflections and community-building games, the program provided students with hands-on experiences, emphasizing optimism, support, confidence, and kindness. We look forward to seeing these skills in action!

The event would not have been possible without the generous support of our community sponsors, whose contributions helped cover the costs of camp and ensured the program remained accessible to all students. Community support helps us develop the leaders of tomorrow and we're incredibly grateful.

Here’s to another successful year, and to the next generation of changemakers rising at Port Perry High School.
