It’s hard to believe it is the Third week of June already.
The Spring Tennis Programs will be finished next week, after a very busy Spring schedule. The programs were a great success, again this year, with approximately 140 people participating in the programs and leagues, during the Spring session. May thanks to our Club Pro – Colin Hooper and his coaching staff.
The Summer Tennis Programs will begin the week of July 6th, 2026.
For anyone interested in improving their tennis game, come join the Club, and sign up for a series of lessons or join one of the leagues
The Port Perry Tennic Club June tournament will take place on Saturday, June 13th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a $10 entry fee, and all proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The tournament will be comprised of a team format, with representation from Wimbleton, French Open, Australian Open, and the US Open.
It has become evident, the level of illumination at court level is far below the recommended standard for safe play, after dark. As a result, the Tennis Club has embarked on a Floodlight Upgrade Project, to replace the aging Mercury Vapour floodlights with new LED fixtures. The project is scheduled to take place during the last week of June.
Exciting times See you on the Courts!
