Local Covid numbers

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: North Durham has seen its first couple cases of COVID-19 in schools. The Durham District School Board has reported two cases of the virus at Port Perry High School. The local high school remains open, and no other North Durham school has yet reported any cases of COVID-19. As of press time, the Durham Region Health department has reported 24 cases of COVID-19 in Scugog, with 22 of those cases listed as resolved and two cases in isolation. Of the 14 cases Brock Township has seen, three are currently listed in isolation and 11 have been declared resolved. The Township of Uxbridge has had 111 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with one case currently listed in isolation, 89 cases resolved and 21 deaths. Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit has reported a total of 181 cases of COVID-19 in Kawartha Lakes. 159 of those cases have resolved, and there have been 32 deaths. There are three cases listed as unresolved.
