Local communities continue to see small number of active cases

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA LAKES: Communities in North Durham and Kawartha Lakes continue to see low and slow increases of COVID-19 cases. As of press time, the Durham Region Health Department has reported a total of 113 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Uxbridge, with one case currently listed in isolation, 21 deaths and 91 cases declared resolved. Scugog has had 26 cases of COVID-19, with one case presently in isolation, and 25 resolved cases. Brock Township has had 16 cases, but all 16 have resolved. Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health unit has reported 183 cumulative cases in Kawartha Lakes, with 163 cases resolved, 32 deaths and one case listed as not resolved.
