LITTLE BRITAIN – A devastating house fire on Sunday, August 10th, has left a young Little Britain family without a home or possessions.
The blaze broke out at a residence on Opmar Road while Greg [last name] was at home with his infant son, Bennett. He was able to save his baby but lost all personal belongings, including his wallet, truck keys, clothes, and household items.
Fire crews responded quickly, but the home was fully engulfed by the time they arrived. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for those who wish to contribute financially. Donations of household items or clothing in women’s medium, men’s extra-large, or baby size 2T are also being accepted. Ashley Hoskin, from the Kawartha Message Boards group, is helping coordinate donations and can arrange pick-up or drop-off.
