For the week of July 5th, families in Lindsay can enjoy free outdoor concerts in the park series at the Frank Banks gazebo, in Victoria Park. Pack a lawn chair or blanket and catch light performances by local artists throughout the summer. Catch a performance by Ge's on Sunday, July 5th, from 2 to 4 p.m. Later in the week, the Brian Ride Trio plays on Wednesday, July 8th, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Bring the family to a pet and paint event. Head to Silver Huron Farm on Sunday, July 5th, to visit friendly farm animals, alpacas, and Highland cows, before a guided painting session. This event will take place on Saturday, July 4th, from 1 to 4 p.m., at 324 Wagg Road, in Uxbridge. Pet and feed friendly animals, paint a 9”x12” pre-drawn canvas. No experience necessary. All art supplies are provided. Light refreshments are included.
Summer Art in the Park is free for ages 7 to 14 this summer. Join us for a free art event in Beaverton on July 7th and July 28th, at Old Mill Park. Then on July 14th and August 18th at Laura McLeod Park. Programs run from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
