There will be a Cottage Country Spring Craft Show on Sunday, April 12th, at the Lindsay Exhibition, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring numerous vendors. Vendors will offer homemade goods, crafts, tasty treats, custom jewelry, woodcrafts, and other items. This event will be held at the Commonwell building at the Lindsey Fairgrounds and will feature unique, locally sourced items.
Families can enjoy the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival from April 11th to 12th, in Sunderland. There will be Maple Syrup Farm tours, There will be a petting zoo, Tiger Paw Exotics, and pony rides at the arena. $5 per pony ride, and there will be Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Hop on the bus and travel to their sugar bush, where you will see a native and Pioneer display, as well as the current production methods. There will be a variety of food available, like Peamal on a bun, barbecue burgers and hot dogs. St Andrews United Church is hosting a warming center, with a baby change station, coffee, tea, and egg salad sandwiches available. There will also be a pancake breakfast at the Sunderland Legion, with indoor and outdoor tables, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Adults $12, children 10 and under $7.
