Come out and join and cycle the United family-friendly event, which is a 4 km charity bike ride and a card game. The Rival departs from the Crayola Cola Canada property at 15 Mary Street West and finishes at the McDonald's on Highway 7 and Angeline Street in Lindsay. Along the Route, you will stop at checkpoints for fun activities and to receive a playing card, which will be added to your hand. At the final stop, you will trade in your five cards for a chance to win prizes. On-site registration opens at 11 a.m., with a ride at noon if you do not have a bike. Lindsey's Bike Share bikes will be free. This will be happening on Sunday, June 22nd, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's $20 to register, free for kids under 10. McDonald's will have giveaways and activities at the finish line! Prizes will be awarded for the three best hands for both adults and kids, and the best decorated bikes.

Children of all ages can join the summer reading program at the Kawartha Lakes Library in Lindsay. Children of all levels can sign up. The reading program is for kids, teens, and adults. Children of all reading levels can sign up. You can register online starting June 19th. The library is also offering outdoor programs, including story time at all branches.
