Standing together on World Homeless Day, come and celebrate the 30th anniversary of a Place Called Home on World Homeless Day, featuring guest speaker Joe Mihevc, a long-serving Toronto City councilor. He is a passionate advocate for affordable housing, and there will be a performance by the Kawartha Lakes brass ensemble. Light refreshments will be served. This will take place on Friday, October 10th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This will be at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 40 Williams Street North, in Lindsay.
Come out for a fun night of darts at the Beaverton Legion on Thursday nights, starting at 6:45 p.m., for ladies' darts. A fun night for only $3.
Bring the family out and come and play modern board games on the last Saturday of every month at the Bobcaygeon Public Library, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.The library is located at 123 8th Street South. This is a free family meet-up for adults. You're invited to join us at the yacht club at the Harbor Harvest open house. Bring your family and friends to celebrate fall at the Waterfront with board games, crafts, and a Lego station. This will take place Saturday, October 11th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Gordon Yacht Harbor, at 81 Front Street East.
