Come out to a fun event put on by the United Way of Haliburton Kawartha Lakes. This will take place on December 2nd from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at 68 McLaughlin Road, in Lindsay. Get ready to jingle all the way through a festive night of fun and friendly competition. Expect multiple trivia rounds with various holiday categories, prizes for winning teams, snacks and drinks, the party doesn't have to end after trivia, stay for a round of axe throwing after, at a discounted rate of just $20. You may come with a team, friends, family, or by yourself; all are welcome. The entry fee is donation-based, and all funds raised will go back to the community. General admission is free; we encourage a donation as an entry fee, but everyone is welcome to join!
The Jingle and Roar Christmas Market will be at the Beaverton Fairgrounds, 176 Main Street, in Beaverton, on Friday, November 28th, from 4 to 9 p.m. Shop local vendors, live music and entertainment, buy a fresh Christmas tree, blue leopard face painting, barbecue, and food vendors will be on hand. Bring the family for Public skating from 4 to 5 p.m. This year's Christmas market in Beaverton will be a fun-filled day for all ages. There will be a horse-drawn wagon, and families can purchase a Christmas tree.
