Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 419 continues to thank the volunteers, following our Easter food and bottle and can drive. To Tony Buxcey , Les Allen and John Gerber for their trucks; and Paul Solomon and Everett Doupe for their trailers and helpers who delivered the cans and bottles to Whitby.
The Royal Canadian Legion would like to report on the results of our drive. Thanks to branch members, the community jar donations, the BBQ, cans, bottles and food donations, we were pleased to deliver a trailer of non perishable food and $1300.00 in gift certificates to the Operation Scugog food bank.
Hopefully, due to the chocolate donated, the Easter bunny found the children!
