Operation Scugog Here We Come! Cartwright Central Public School in Blackstock has just “wrapped up” our second successful Food and Sock Drive this year. The junior hall challenged all other hallways to meet or exceed their goal of 150 items. Daily announcements by primary students encouraged the school community to “give what you ‘can’ ”. One enthusiastic class donated 99 items! In total, Cartwright Central collected 324 non-perishable food items, 244 diapers, 175 pairs of socks, eight hats and seven pairs of mitts.
