UXBRIDGE: Lakeview Health and Wellness opened their first location in 2020 in Port Perry. Since then, the multi-disciplinary health and wellness centre has grown by leaps and bounds.

When asked why Lakeview Health and Wellness chose to open a second location in Uxbridge, Charlene Gough, Owner/Operator and Registered Massage Therapist, explained, “The demand for therapy is so high and the area is very underserviced. We treat many people from the Uxbridge area in our Port Perry location currently. So [by opening an Uxbridge location] we are helping to meet this demand.”
Lakeview Health and Wellness celebrated their official grand opening and open house, on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14th. Kristen Meyer-Creamer from the North Durham Chamber of Commerce was on hand to assist Charlene and Clinical Manager Jackie Bebee with the official ribbon cutting ceremony.
“Lakeview Health and Wellness provides direct billing as well as easy online booking and both locations are wheelchair accessible to help meet the needs of the entire community. As well, over the coming months, Lakeview will be adding more services. Our practitioners are experienced in treating all age groups which is very helpful.” explained Charlene.
