Kawartha Lakes Celebrates Canada Day with Family Fun and Fireworks at Wilson Fields & Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES: Residents and visitors in Lindsay are invited to take part in a full day of Canada Day celebrations featuring family-friendly activities, entertainment, and an evening fireworks display at Wilson Fields.

The festivities run from 1 to 10 p.m., offering an afternoon and evening packed with activities for all ages. Throughout the day, families can enjoy kids’ activities designed to keep younger visitors entertained, alongside opportunities to gather and celebrate Canada’s national holiday with friends and neighbours.

The highlight of the event will be the Canada Day fireworks show, lighting up the sky over Wilson Fields at the end of the evening celebrations.

Organizers are encouraging the community to come out early, enjoy the activities, and spend the day celebrating Canada Day together in the heart of Lindsay.

Residents and visitors slightly to the north are also invited to celebrate Canada Day in Fenelon Falls with a full day of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and fireworks on July 1st.

The festivities begin at the Family Fun Zone, located at Maryboro Lodge and Garnet Graham Park, where families can enjoy a variety of free activities throughout the day. Attractions include live music, a petting zoo, a bouncy castle, kid-friendly games and activities, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate Canada's 159th birthday with friends and neighbours.

After enjoying the activities at the park, visitors can head to the local Legion for the Canada Day on the Patio barbecue, running from noon until 5 p.m. The barbecue offers a chance to enjoy great food, support the community, and spend time with family and friends.

The event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk, beginning at approximately 10 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from the Maryboro Lodge and Garnet Graham Park area, providing a fitting finale to a day of community celebration.

With activities for all ages, organizers are encouraging residents and visitors alike to spend Canada Day in Fenelon Falls and take part in one of the area's most popular annual celebrations.
