KAWARTHA LAKES: Kawartha Farmfest is an annual one-day, self-guided driving tour of farms and rural attractions in Kawartha Lakes. Bring the whole family for a COVID-safe, fun-filled day of farm and food experiences from across Kawartha Lakes! Engage with area agricultural producers and retailers in a fun, family friendly and safe way. The self-guided tour features 9 sites, including stops at four family farms. Kawartha Farmfest offers a chance to experience the fall harvest first hand while learning about the farms in the community. Our annual Kawartha Farmfest is back this year with some modifications to accommodate health and safety protocols. The participating host farms are graciously opening their doors to provide tours and answer questions about their operation. Kawartha Farmfest is both a celebration of agriculture and brings the community together in a hands-on experiential way. Advanced tickets are available online only and visitors will pre-book their farm stops on the tour. Gain access to all the event sites throughout the day with your Farmfest Passport.
