Full slate of March Break fun at Kawartha Lakes libraries

KAWARTHA LAKES: With March Break set for next week, all the branches of the Kawartha Lakes Public Library have scheduled many exciting events and activities for children throughout the week. The fun for kids kicks off starting Monday, March 16th. Some highlights for March Break include a visit from Dalrymple Rabbitry, at the Woodville and Little Britain branches on March 16th, and the Dunsford and Lindsay branches on March 18th. This is a chance to hold and pet a variety of rabbits and bunnies. Woolley Wonderland will bring their farm animal petting zoo, to Dalton on the 16th, Oakwood on the 17th, Bethany on the 18th, and Lindsay on the 19th. It will get loud, when Djembe Drumming returns to Bobcaygeon, on the 16th, Lindsay on the 17th, Coboconk on the 19th and Omemee on the 20th. Join in painting workshops in Coboconk, Kinmount and Kirkfield on the 17th, in Dalton and Bobcaygeon on the 18th, in Fenelon Falls on the 20th, and in Norland on the 21st. Please call or visit the branches to register. here will be a $5 charge per child to cover materials. We require you to register for this event. Oakwood will host a Wet Felting workshop for kids on Wednesday, March 18th. This program is free, but please call the branch at 705-953-9060 to pre-register. All the popular regular programs, such as Storytime and Lego Mania, will run as normal throughout March Break.
