We’re moving on and now November.
Halloween’s over, it’s Standard time and it’s dark before many friends are home from work. The Toronto Blue Jays lost the World Series to the Los Angles Dodger having given their very best. Could have gone their way too if the ball had only bounced in their favour. Loads of excitement!
The Epsom girls enjoyed time together on Friday for lunch. It’s always special and we invariably come back to times spent at public school together. Where did the time go?
You’re invited to a soup lunch and euchre time at Epsom Church on Tuesday, November 18 at 11:30. Looking forward to a special time together.
The Canadian Foodgrains Bank directors have asked to meet at Epsom Church on Monday, December 1. Meeting to begin at 10 a.m. with coffee and muffins. Hope you will come and learn more about this very important organization that this community with help from many friends and community business support.
Will miss the start of the November birthdays but hope all birthdays during this month will bring memories to keep and all anniversaries are celebrated with jubilation and friends. November 5 is the last super moon of this year. It’s full as well as super. This full moon shines on all of us lighting up everyone’s life.
A Big Thank You to a special Gal Darlene who has delivered the Standard to many doors in this neighbourhood for at least 5 years. With a hip that’s not what it used to be and slippery winter weather in the offing the decision to stop was easier to make. Thanks Dar for your kindness.
