Some farmers have started combining wheat while just finishing the second cut of hay, heading into a busy and stressful time, dodging the elements. The rain we received on Saturday night was so welcome for the crops, lawns and gardens.
Birthday parties are so special, whether they’re for two-year-olds or 85-year-olds. That’s how it was late Saturday afternoon as a packed crowd of well-wishers came to wish Dr Pat a Happy 85th birthday. Friends meeting friends and relatives meeting relatives again, catching up for a few minutes with memories which will last forever.
Pat has lived in the Sandford area since returning from 17 years in Belize and two years in Jamaica as a dentist. Epsom is Pat’s youth home, having attended Epsom Public School, Port Perry High School and the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, then starting her dentistry practice in Uxbridge. Former patients who are now grandparents, possibly great-grandparents, were in attendance too. The delicious lunch was provided by Mary’s Country Kitchen, and the scrumptious birthday cake was baked by Karen Tindall. A very special time to celebrate Dr. Pat.
Sunday afternoon, many well-wishers gathered at the Sutherland home in Utica to wish Sarah and Sean a baby shower as they await the arrival of their baby girl. Friends and family all enjoyed the many treats prepared for the occasion. Many blessings are extended to Sean and Sarah as they look to the future.
Sunday evening at the Glen was filled with the beautiful, sacred harmonies of the Reflections. During the month of August, you are welcome to worship with them at 7 p.m.

The distinction between UX and UI researchers can be subtle, but this article does a fantastic job of clarifying it. It's fascinating how both roles complement each other to create seamless digital experiences. For anyone looking to specialize in the design process, understanding these nuances is crucial. This piece offers a comprehensive overview that's both informative and easy to digest.
