Sunday, what a beautiful Spring day. So hard to stay indoors and watch the Masters, the Grand Slam of Curling, with numerous almost final hockey games being played. What to choose?
The Saturday “pink” micro full moon didn’t disappoint, being the farthest from Earth. The clouds stayed hidden, showering us with this magnificent silvery light.
This week leading up to Easter is the most celebrated for churches. It is the 40th year the Canadian Foodgrains Bank Project here has been part of a Christian response to hunger. This has influenced the response of everyone in this area and the surrounding communities. To support this mission, there is a “potluck” breakfast on Good Friday morning at Epsom Church. Visitation is at 9 a.m., and breakfast is at 9:30 a.m.
Come and celebrate Easter Sunday in worship at Epsom United Church, as people from all over the world will join in singing “Hallelujah.” Fellowship will follow worship at 10:30 a.m.
