COVID-19 cases starting to lower in local communities again

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local communities are again starting to see lower active cases of COVID-19.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Uxbridge has three active cases in home isolation as of press time. To date, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 484 resolved cases.

Scugog has one active case in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 390 resolved cases. Brock Township continues to have no active cases of the virus. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 192 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has five active cases, 1,253 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
