COVID-19 cases rise in North Durham

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: COVID-19 case numbers have risen in North Durham.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has ten active cases, all listed in home isolation as of press time. To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 372 resolved cases.

Uxbridge has six active cases in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 474 resolved cases. Brock Township has zero active cases presently. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 192 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting that Kawartha Lakes has four unresolved/active cases and has had 1,244 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
