COVID-19 cases remain in single digits in Kawartha Lakes,North Durham

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local communities are seeing COVID-19 case numbers in the single digits recently.

As of press time, according to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has six active cases, all in-home isolation. To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 390 resolved cases.

Uxbridge has two active cases in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 486 resolved cases. For the first time in a few weeks, Brock Township has one active virus case in home isolation. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 192 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has four unresolved/active cases, 1,262 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
