COVID-19 cases low in North Durham, Kawartha Lakes

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local communities are seeing low numbers of active COVID-19 cases this week.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has one active case in home isolation as of press time.

To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 395 resolved cases.

Uxbridge also has one active case in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 487 resolved cases. Brock Township has zero active cases of the virus. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 196 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has three unresolved/active cases, 1,266 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
