COVID-19 case numbers declining in local areas

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: The North Durham and Kawartha Lakes communities are reporting decreasing numbers of active COVID-19 cases.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Uxbridge has 23 active cases. To date, Uxbridge has had 28 deaths and 1,092 resolved cases.

Scugog has seven active cases. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 18 deaths and 974 resolved cases.

Brock Township has three active cases. To date, Brock has had four deaths and 574 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has 53 active cases, 3,460 resolved cases and 77 deaths.
