COVID-19 case landscape continues to change locally

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: The COVID-19 case situation continues to change day by day in local communities.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Uxbridge has 177 active cases as of press time. To date, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 676 resolved cases.

Scugog has 184 active cases. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 545 resolved cases. Brock Township has 78 active cases. To date, Brock has had four deaths, an increase of one from last week, and 285 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has 462 unresolved/active cases, 1,680 resolved cases and 59 deaths, which is an addition of one death since last week’s numbers.
