BROCK: The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on a portion of Mara Road,Regional Road 23. Durham Region is placing surface asphalt on the road. The work is scheduled to begin on July 15th and should be complete by August 9th. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule. The section of Mara Road that will be affected is from just north of Main Street to north of Franklin Street, in the Township of Brock. The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
