Communities still seeing small numbers of COVID-19 cases

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: North Durham’s COVID-19 case numbers remain in the single digits.

As of press time, according to the Durham Region Health Department, Uxbridge has three active cases, with two people in home isolation and one person in a hospital. To date, Uxbridge has had 448 resolved cases and 26 deaths.

There are still no active cases in Scugog. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 340 resolved cases.

Brock Township has two active cases, both listed in home isolation. To date, Brock has had 181 resolved cases and three deaths.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting Kawartha Lakes has ten unresolved/active cases, 1,151 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
