Classic Cars Shine at Annual Lindsay Show

LINDSAY: Downtown Lindsay was filled with gleaming chrome and vintage vehicles on Sunday, July 19, as Classics on Kent and Brits in the Park attracted hundreds of car enthusiasts and spectators.
Classic cars lined Kent Street while Victoria Park hosted an impressive collection of British-built automobiles, including MGs, Triumphs, Jaguars, Austin-Healeys and Minis. The annual event featured everything from early antiques to muscle cars and modern classics, giving visitors a chance to admire decades of automotive history.
Owners proudly displayed their restored vehicles and shared stories about the time and dedication invested in preserving them. Families and visitors strolled through the exhibits, taking photographs and learning about the unique history behind many of the cars.
The show also brought a steady stream of people to downtown businesses, with local restaurants, cafés and shops benefiting from the influx of visitors. Live entertainment and a lively atmosphere added to the day's festivities.
Drawing participants from across Ontario, Classics on Kent and Brits in the Park continue to be a favourite summer tradition in Lindsay. With ideal weather and strong attendance, this year's event once again celebrated automotive heritage while bringing together collectors, residents and visitors for a day of community spirit and classic motoring.
