Cases continue to add up in local areas

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: As Ontario gets closer to the anniversary of the first COVID-19 state of emergency declaration, local communities are still reporting cases.

According to the Durham Regional Health Department, Scugog has two active cases, both listed in home isolation. To date, Scugog has had 16 deaths and 181 resolved cases.

Uxbridge currently has six active cases, all in-home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 24 deaths and 221 resolved cases. Brock Township has four active cases in home isolation and 55 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reports Kawartha Lakes has 14 unresolved cases, 494 resolved cases and 55 deaths.
