Canada Day events in Kawartha Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES: There are plenty of exciting events planned for Canada Day in Kawartha Lakes this year.


To help plan your Canada Day celebrations in Kawartha Lakes, here’s a list of events happening across the municipality:

Friday June 30

• Woodville: The Woodville Canada Day Fireworks show starts at dusk at the Woodville/Eldon Community Centre.

Saturday July 1

• Bobcaygeon: Check out the Bobcaygeon Fairgrounds and Tommy Anderson Park for family activities, barbecue, live music, a parade and fireworks. Activities will begin at 10am with the Canada Day parade starting at 2pm, and the fireworks show at dusk. Details for the event can be found here: www.canadadaybobcaygeon.com

• Fenelon Falls: Come to Garnet Graham Park for family activities, entertainment, barbecue and fireworks. The event starts at 10am, with fireworks beginning at dusk.

• Kinmount: Head to the Kinmount Fairgrounds for family activities, barbecue, live music and fireworks. The event starts at 5pm, while the fireworks show will begin at dusk.

• Lindsay: Check out Wilson Fields for family activities, barbecue, live music and fireworks. The event starts at 4pm, while the fireworks show will begin at dusk.

• Norland: Swing by Ward Park in Norland for a Canada Day Fireworks show that starts at dusk.

• Omemee: Visit Beach Park in Omemee for family activities, barbecue, live music and fireworks. Activities will start early in the day at 11am, while the fireworks show will begin at dusk.

Sunday July 2

• Coboconk: Join the Kawartha Lakes Civitan Club for live music, Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream and fireworks. The event will start at 7pm.
