Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc.

By Robin Van Der Vleuten

Brian Gribben, of Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc., is a seasoned investment and strategic planning specialist, with over 42 years in the business. Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc. recently relocated to the corner of Mary and Perry Street, in Port Perry.

As a prior weekend cottager, in Port Perry, Brian and his family loved the feel and sense of community Port Perry offered. He decided to move Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc. to Port Perry, to give back to the community by providing their services. In the past three years, Brian and his partner, Susan, hosted their BGIP Summer Spectacular, at Trillium Trails, for special guests and local businesses to raise money, for the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.

Brian’s personal goal, at Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc., is to continue to serve the community and create a legacy, from what he and his team have done to make a difference, whether it is through fundraising or through the planning work to conserve and preserve estates, focusing on tax planning and capital gains.

Although his specialty is Retirement Planning, Brian has a unique team of eight advisors (four remotely and four on location), who specialize in other areas at Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc.

They are associated with Canada Life and Industrial Alliance, with 50 percent of their business dealing with investments. The other 50 percent is Life Insurance Planning, even for self-employed individuals (ie. Disability insurance and protection of personal items). With many years of investment/planning experience, advisors at Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc.  are cognizant of the ups and downs of life. Not employed with any specific company, Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc. is not limited to what they can do to help people, nor do they have quotas to meet. Plans are personalized and tailored to each person’s situation. No minimum size for investment accounts is required.

Brian’s target audience are those between 50 and 75, focusing on clients close to retirement or who have been retired for a while. Other members of his company target a broader audience, from 30-75 years of age. At Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc., advisors implement unique planning tools, to consider all aspects of a client's life (pensions, income, goals, and concerns for the next generation).

Brian proudly stated, “As I am working to create a legacy for myself and my family, I also want to create legacies [for] my clients and their families.”

Their Four Phase process, of meeting client(s), presenting a plan review, creating a strategy session, and then following up with a strategic review, will help to personalize a short/intermediate/and long-term plan which will optimize your overall financial objectives.

The goal at Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc. is to choose the right insurance plan and products for both you and your family, whether Estate Planning, Insurance, Investments, Retirement Planning, Financial Security or Legacy Planning.

While still in the social media infancy, for the past 25 years, most of their business has come through referrals, they are on Facebook, LinkedIn, and their website. “Although we are a kind of traditional company, we use varied avenues of technology. Technology helps us to improve our efficiency and effectiveness, to help and serve more people at a higher level, but still maintain our personal service.”

Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc. is a progressive company with a four-day working week (Mon-Thurs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), although Brian is available on Fridays. They are fully accessible for communicating with the community via phone, email, drop-ins and Zoom. Brian writes a monthly article, entitled, The Investors Corner, at The Investors Corner.ca, about investing, with topics, such as Artificial Intelligence, TFSAs, their company history and what they do.

Brian Gribben loves the work he does. He is passionate about what he and his staff do, at Brian Gribben Insurance Planning Inc., and it is validated through their awards, results and client's appreciation. To learn more about them go online to https://www.bgip.ca/contact.

Music-Driven geometry dash subzero Levels: Like the original Geometry Dash game, Subzero's levels are largely impacted by music. The rhythm and rhythms direct the player's actions and improve the overall experience. The game includes unique tunes from DJ clubs, such as "Clutterfunk" by F-777.
