Bring the kids to Carissa Settlers Village, where they will be showing movies on July 5th and July 22nd. Join us every Wednesday at 7 p.m., beginning July 8th, for a fun evening under the beams of the barn. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, or anything else you need to create the perfect cozy movie spot. Admission is by donation, and our Snack Shack will be open with your favourite movie-theatre treats: popcorn, candy, and drinks. We can't wait to see you at the barn this summer. The Blue Castle, a musical performed at the Historical Leaksdale Church on July 11th and 12th. It is the 100th anniversary of Lucy Maud Montgomery's only Ontario-based 1926 romance novel. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 905-862-0808. Take a journey back in time and learn all about who Lucy Maud Montgomery was. The tours are with a famous Canadian writer. You will go on a tour of the church where her husband preached, and afterwards have some scones and tea. The tours are, on weekends only, throughout June, July, and August.
