It's going to be so much fun! Bring the family out to Boatapalooza on August 8th, in Bobcaygeon. It is going to have the best-decorated boat contest. Get creative and have fun. This is a fundraising event; proceeds go to support the Bobcaygeon Legion's emergency program.
There will also be a barbecue, raffle draws, and a 50/50 draw. There will be lots of vendors. This is an annual event, part of the Water Music Festival, held at the marina on Pigeon Lake, just outside of Bobcaygeon. It takes place on Saturday, August 8th, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The live music lineup features the Limestone Cowboys from 12 to 2 p.m. The Penalty Box from 3 to 5 p.m., and the closing tribute band featuring ABBA music from 6 to 9 p.m. If you don't have a boat, no problem; visitors are welcome to bring a lawn chair to the shore. A shuttle service will be available, and local land shuttles will operate during the event. All proceeds and cash donations from wristbands, 50/50 tickets, and raffles go directly to support local charities.
Bring the whole family out for a day of fun at the Lindsey Drive-In for the car show. The third annual cruise and movie night will take place on Saturday, August 8th. Activities begin in the afternoon, featuring classic and custom vehicles, local vendors, live music from the band No Looking Back, and a full slate of drive-in movies starting at dusk. Gates open at 7:30 pm, and the first feature begins at 9 p.m.
