Bring the kids to a fun movie night in the barn! The movie this time will be Wonder Park. This event will take place at Kawartha Settlers' Village, 85 Dunn Street, Bobcaygeon, on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, at 7 p.m. Movies in the barn will be held every Wednesday evening in August. Please bring your chairs or blankets. Also, don't forget the snacks, popcorn, and drinks. Treats are available at the snack shack.

Books and Beyond preschool story time, for ages 1 to JK, is on August 1st, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Families with children learn and practice skills for School Readiness. This is a fun and engaging story time! This drop-in program will take place at 401 Simcoe Street in Beaverton. For more information, call 705-426-9283.

For the week of August 2nd, in Lindsay, several events are scheduled, including concerts and Library activities. There will be free concerts in the park on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings in Victoria Park. There's also a Tech Fest at the Lindsay Library, featuring kid-friendly activities which utilize emerging technologies. The library is also hosting Lego Mania and a space Observatory box.
