At a recent gathering of the Blackstock Agricultural Society, several people were recognized for their contributions. Congratulations to Craig Larmer, Barry Van Camp and Ann-Julia Bajema on receiving awards of merit for long-standing service to our Fair. All have worked diligently for many years to help make our events a success. Also recognized was Helen Coates for her past association as a Director and Homecraft President, and her ongoing work with the Vegetable section at our Fair. She became an Honorary Member. The Executive for the upcoming year is as follows: Mary Meyer (President), Nicole Probst (Vice President), Elizabeth Peeters (Secretary/Treasurer). The next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 11th, at 7:30 p.m., at the Blackstock Recreation Centre.

The dates and times for Drop-In Coffee at Blackstock Nestleton United Church are: Monday, March 9th, and Monday, March 23rd, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Please note the time change!

Speaking of time changes, do remember to spring those clocks forward on Sunday, March 8th, as we change to Daylight Savings Time!
