The Blackstock Co-op Nursery School's annual "Breakfast with Santa" is on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Blackstock Recreation Centre. The event features a pancake breakfast, photos with Santa, a silent auction, and a bake sale to raise funds for the nursery school. This is a cash-only event and is open to everyone.

Marion Larmer has recently moved to West Shore and is looking forward to visitors.

Happy 4th Birthday to Eleanor Van Camp. Both the Rudkin and Van Camp families celebrated with her on the weekend.

Unfortunately, Scugog Council turned down the proposal of a portable refrigeration unit for the Blackstock Arena. Although the planning committee and user groups strongly supported this option, Council felt there was insufficient information to justify such a large financial commitment.

Blackstock-Nestleton United Church Choir is offering its annual Cantata on Sunday, December 14th. The service starts at 9:45 a.m. and will be followed by Souper Sundae, a lunch of soup, buns, ice cream, and cookies. Everyone is welcome to attend. The lunch is free, but donations are always welcome.

The next Coffee Drop-In is on Monday, November 24th, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Blackstock-Nestleton United Church. Please join us!
