The local BIA (Blackstock Improvement Association!) was busy last week decorating the poles that have veterans' banners along Old Scugog and Church Streets. Special thanks to Davd and Ingrid Larmer for providing the corn stalks, and to Ellen, Louise, Ingrid, and Janet for decorating and putting them up.
Congratulations to Ellen Martyn, who recently received her Canadian citizenship at a ceremony in North York. A proud moment for her and the Martyn family.
Happy to announce the arrival of Noah Louise Larmer, along with her parents, Clay and Isabelle. A little sister for Phoenix, a great-grandchild for Marion Larmer, and a granddaughter for Craig and Margo Larmer.
Steven and Stephanie Larmer of Arthur are also thrilled to be the parents of a baby boy, Casey. He joins big brother Felix. Dave and Ingrid are his proud grandparents.
