Plant Sales hosted by the Pine Ridge Garden Club and the Blackstock-Nestleton United Church were well-attended and well-supported. The proceeds from the Church's perennial sale were donated to ALS, Cartwright Central Public School (CCPS) Breakfast Club, Oak Ridges Hospice and Port Perry Hospital.

The annual Decoration Day Service for Cartwright Union Cemetery (3990 Edgerton Road, Blackstock) will be held on Sunday, June 8th, at 2 p.m., rain or shine. Donations are greatly appreciated. CCPS held its annual track and field meet at the school for students in grades 4 to 8. Winners advanced to an area meet, which included field events at Prince Albert Public School and track events at Port Perry High School. Two fun days for these budding athletes!
