Sympathy is extended to the family of Gord Paisley upon his recent passing. Mr. Paisley was a long-time educator and served many years as Principal of Cartwright High School. CCPS presented a very thoughtful and meaningful service on

Remembrance Day. Thank you to the staff and students for their efforts to provide this ceremony.

Many people attended the service at the Blackstock Recreation Centre and Cenotaph. Many also enjoyed a time of fellowship afterwards while enjoying the lunch provided by the Lion’s Club.

Cartwright Central Public School (CCPS) is offering poinsettias for sale with pick-up at the school on December 4th from 4 to 6 p.m. An eight-inch poinsettia sells for $26.25 and comes in a variety of colours. The money raised supports the arts programs at our local school.
