This Saturday, June 4th, with a 10 a.m. shotgun start, Cartwright Sports & Recreation Inc. will host its annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Sunnybrae Golf Course, Prince Albert.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. The cost is $125 per player. Fees include 18 holes, golf & cart, on-course contests, morning muffin/beverage, BBQ ‘to-go’ lunch during the round and appetizers during the “Happy Hour” gathering after the tournament.

The organization is seeking hole sponsors ($100) and foursomes for this fun community event.

All proceeds will go towards future development and upgrades to Cartwright Fields sports park, trails and facilities in Nestleton. Registration is filling up fast, so please act quickly.

Advance payments are required for golf fees, sponsorships, and donations can be etransferred to: nannerstinson@hotmail.ca or wilma@xplornet.ca.

Blackstock Truck and Tractor Pull is roaring back onto the fairgrounds on Friday, July 8th at 7:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, July 9th at 7 p.m. If you would like to volunteer for a gate shift or a shift at the Full Pull Beer Tent, please e-mail Janet: at jrvc78@hotmail.com.

The Blackstock Fair is returning after a two year hiatus due to Covid and will be held on Saturday, August 27th, followed by the always exciting Demolition Derby. Please save the dates and plan on supporting these local events.
