BIG Travel Raffle kicks off the summer

KAWARTHA LAKES: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton is kicking off the summer with their BIG Travel Raffle once again! The organization has received a voucher for a Grand Prize for two people to travel anywhere WestJet flies. “WestJet Cares for Kids” has been supporting this children’s organizations for several years now, so Big Brothers Big Sisters is excited about offering another opportunity to win this voucher that can be redeemed anytime before August 31, 2020. Tickets are available at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office at 117 Kent St. West in Lindsay, Boiling Over’s Coffee Vault at the corner of Kent St. and Cambridge St., and summer events like Classics on Kent, Bobcaygeon Farmers Market, Local Farmers Market, The Woodville Festival and other event opportunities. The draw will take place on August 31st, 2019 at the Big Brother Big Sister office. All the funds raised through this raffle will support local mentoring programs for children who can benefit from a friendship with a caring adult mentor. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton is a United Way funded organization, but also highly depends on their own fund raising initiatives to remain sustainable.
