NORTH DURHAM: Brock Town Council recently learned, the Beaverton Service Ontario kiosk would move out of the leased premises, at 397 Simcoe Street, in Beaverton, by the end of September 2025. The owners informed council about this on Friday, August 1st.
Since last autumn, the township has collaborated with the owners to move the kiosk to the Beaverton Town Hall. Learning about this greatly disappointed the Council.
Staff have been communicating with Service Ontario to make sure residents of the area are unaffected in the long term. Prospective bidders are being invited, by Request for Bids under Tender_20302, to qualify as Vendors to operate a Service Ontario Service Centre, as confirmed by The Ministry of Public and Business Services Delivery Procurement. The tender is posted on the Ontario Tenders Portal right now, with an opportunity to be awarded Vendor of Record with the Ministry. It is open to businesses of any size.
Visit Doing Business with the Government Ontario to learn about becoming a vendor. Contact doingbusiness@ontario.ca for general procurement inquiries.
Brock Township looks forward to the future of Service Ontario serving residents.
