The Royal Canadian Legion in Beaverton offers several exercise classes, including Gentle Fit, which focuses on improving functional performance, strength, and balance to help prevent injury. Contact the Brock Community Health Center to register by calling 705-432-3322. There is also a Zumba class every Wednesday, at 6 p.m., at the Beaverton Legion. The cost is $15.
Bring the kids out for a free event during March break at the Legion in Lindsay. On Thursday, March 13th, from noon to 3 p.m., there will be a show for kids of all ages. Additionally, at 1 p.m., kids can enjoy games, take photos with veterans against a tank backdrop, and interact with reenactors. Everyone is welcome. This will be at Sir Sam Hughes Branch 67, 12 York Street North, in Lindsay.
More March break fun on Tuesday, March 17th, at 11 a.m. Come see a Browning reptile presentation live! There will be 12 amazing animals, in person, ranging from reptiles to amphibians, free of charge. The location is Center Court at Lindsay Square Mall. Their mission is to simply educate and inspire, whether you're a curious kid, a parent, a teacher, or just an animal lover. Come and join in on the fun.
Join us on Sunday, March 16th, at 2:15 p.m., at the Lindsay Recreation Complex pad 2, for a free public skate! Finish off the March break with a free skate from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m, at 133 Adelaide Street South, in Lindsay.
