Brock Area Community Memorial Committee in Beaverton requests the honour of your presence at their 15th annual memorial service to celebrate the lives of those who departed this life. This will occur on Sunday, June 22nd, at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be available. Please call 705-432-3322 extension 105 to register your attendance; butterflies can be ordered in advance to be released at the ceremony in memory of your loved ones. Butterflies cost $5 each. Quantities are limited. Please call before June 12th and include the name of your loved one and the number of people attending.

The township of Brock is offering free outdoor movies. Grab your blanket, popcorn, and friends; it's time for outdoor movies. The first movie will be shown on Friday, May 30th, at the Sunderland Memorial Arena. On Friday, June 27th, the second movie will be at the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Center, in Cannington. The final movie will air on Friday, August 22nd, at the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Center, in Beaverton. Bring lawn chairs, cozy up and enjoy a free night of movies with your neighbours. Donations to the food bank are not required but will gladly be accepted.

Hike for Hospice 2025 will occur on Sunday, June 1st, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk the block and help us raise $30,000 for hospice. Registration opens at 11 a.m. This will start at Community Care, 21 Angeline Street North, across from Ross Memorial Hospital, in Lindsay.
